Hi there, thought to write the next post soon. Here we go to the beach Mount Lavinia. Another eye-catching beach in this brilliant island. I was so scared to visit the beach cause this beach is more beautiful than I dreamed. Very beautiful coast line surrounded by fantastic restaurants, with great hotels and urban lifestyle. When we focus on the place this beach situated, it is on Galle road and positioned just 12 kilometres from the city Colombo. Then beach Mt. Lavinia is very famous among local and international travellers due to the clean blue water and very white sandy with windy atmosphere. Very ideal for a great see bathing.

Specially I'm going to tell you something about the history of this place. There is a believe among people that the name Mount Lavinia is derived from the name of the governor called Sir Thomas Maitland. The Mount Lavinia Hotel which lies along this spectacular beach is now world known hotel. The Sinhala name for the Mount Lavinia is Galkissa. This word is believed to have derived from the belief that there is a great treasure beneath a shipwreck hidden among the rocks in the deep see of Mount Lavinia. This beach has a perfect setting to spirit of adventure or simply lay and relax in a cool atmosphere. If someone is seeking to taste the tongue I think there is no other place than Mount Lavini. Restaurants here are offering mouth watering safe seafood with local twist. Prawns and crabs here are delicious. We know this taste and I was lucky enough to enjoy that taste. I don't think there is any fool to miss this great chance to enjoy this sea-foods. This is one of the golden beach among the beaches in Sri Lanka. Also this is a great playground for adventurous activities. Water sports like swimming, surfing and diving are all possible in this beach. This is also a beach where we can see coral reefs other than the beach Hikkaduwa. Underwater flora and fauna also plays a main role in this field. Also ideal place for fishing activities.

This beach is tourist friendly and offers great facilities for guests. Offers fun filled, adventurous holiday for you. I'm 100% sure that this great land adds memorable moments for your holiday. I'm going to write about another awesome beach in Sri Lanka that I have went in my life. This is the most adventurous beach trip I ever went. Had an awesome fun there. Beantota beach is an oasis and well established beach resort in Sri Lanka. This is a place like heaven for the water sports. The possibilities here for water sports are endless. This adventurous beach is situated 90 kilometres from the Katunayake international airport. While just 60 kilometres away from the city Colombo. This great beach is situated along the south west coast line in Sri Lanka. 

This beach is well known and very famous among travellers to Sri Lanka due to the facilities and the service they feel after came to Bentota. Very tourist friendly beach hotels are the key for their famous. Because this wonderful coast line is a home for the very luxuries hotels in Sri Lanka and they are earning a lot of money from this beauty of the nature. Bentota beach is a valuable destination to spend a great vacation. Because swimming conditions in this area are safe. Also this beach is a fantastic place for many of water sports like swimming, windsurfing, jet skiing, para sailing, body surfing etc. Deep sea fishing also offers a great experience for the visitors.
